GICAM was founded to promote specialised humanitarian programs in Hand Surgery, Orthopaedics, and Reconstructive Microsurgery across some of the most disadvantaged areas of Asia, Africa, and South America.

By providing surgical interventions and reconstructive procedures, we improve the lives of children and women facing extreme hardship. Our patients are among the most vulnerable, and without this kind of support they would have no access to surgical treatment.
